In your case it will probably be a different application, so you’ll want to try each of them separately and see what works. I dunno about Win7. Win+R (again...) 4. I'm running Windows 7.
Skype was alerting me and when I quit it, it let go of my task bar which now auto-hides beautifully. But there are some apps for work that have to have windows to run or else I would remove windows. And if you can't see them they can't be closed. No, Fix It!
Or when Im running Framemaker in full screen mode, the taskbar gets stuck either hidden or visible.
