A bent condenser fan causes stress on the blower fan motor shaft and can destroy the motor. The factory cannot always provide diagnosis, but they are very good at explaining how the system is designed to operate. I appreciate the feedback.Jaime - The stick is a diagnostic method, not a repair. Same result. Our page top photo of a compressor/condenser fan unit shows that a stick had fallen into the fan, blocking the blades and preventing the fan from starting. Would you think this could be the contactor at all?
