I shut the system off and about 16 hours later I turned the it back on and it worked fine and has been working well ever since. It is possible the bad motor has damaged the new capacitor. I fired the system back up and the fan ran again, but not the compressor. Capacitor was bulging like picture of all bad ones I've seen on Internet.
