there is no update iFilter for adobe x that i could find. Re-indexing seems like a far safer concept, and likely exactly the same time involved either way for the system to re-scan. We apologize for your inconvenience. However, if the whole document was created in adobe, or it was converted from some format that converts to pdf text, I would be able to search for it. I was reluctant to go back to Acrobat for pdf (I use NitroPDF Reader) so was pleased when I found Foxit had an iFilter. Even navigating to it through the Adobe website leads to the same blank page.
