BUT I was forced to drive the TDI and the gauge worked twice during deliveries... useful reference changed the sensor. The management works very hard to make sure the community is running the best software, best designs, and all the other bells and whistles. I have the same problem, I've done some asking and searching. However, I had the car vag-com'd today for my fuel guage issue, and the vag-com said that there is a short to ground at the fuel sender. Plus my coolant reservoir is at the min level now. So its disappearing.
